I recently upgraded to Windows 10, and even though everything went smoothly, I am having an issue that I can't get worked out that may cause me to revert back to 7 or 8.1. Every so often at random times, but a couple of times throughout the day, 3-6 times, my wired internet on my computer drops. My connection is fine as my PS4 (wired) and tablet (wireless) continue to function without issue..so I know the problem is my desktop. (For the record it is an Alienware Aurora ALX ~2011'ish and everything worked perfect before Windows 10. So when the wired connections drops, I run the troubleshooting and it eventually disables the adapter, and I try to re-enable it, but it only stays offline, the only way to fix this is to reboot the computer, then it will work for an hour or two until it drops again.

I have replaced the cable with a known good cable, I have gone into power management for the adapter itself and unchecked the box that allows windows to put the adapter to sleep (was on by default), and checked for newer drivers (there was none). I'm looking for any other help or suggestions
