Change Of Address in Pennsylvania
Renew your Texas driver license or ID card online with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). If you have moved, use this service to change the address on your Texas driver license or ID. Things to know. You have 10 days after you move to change your address on your driver license or ID card.; There's no cost to update your address. There is a $20 fee for getting a new card with your updated address on it. Updating your address on your driver license doesn't change your address on your vehicle. You'll need to do that separately. Residents are required to update the address currently listed on their driver's license/permit/ID card within 30 days of moving to Georgia. Customers are allowed 1 free address change during the original term of your license as long as it's not within 150 days of your license expiration date.
You have 10 days after you move to change your address on your driver license or ID card. There's no cost to update your address. There is a $20 fee for getting a new card with your updated address on it. Updating your address on your driver license doesn't change your address on your vehicle. You'll need to do that separately. Your current Texas driver license or ID card. If you do not have audit number, you will be required to complete additional authentication with an additional fee. Fees. Renewal of driver license (with or without changing address): $25; Renewal of ID (with or without changing address): $16; Renewal of driver license with motorcycle (with or without changing address): $33. Driver License/ID number (if you don’t have your license/ID, you can find your driver license number on your vehicle registration). Social Security Number; NOTE: if you change your address online, you will not be issued a new driver license. If you want to change the address on your license, you can get a duplicate license; or see Change. Address changes are free. There is a $12 charge if you request a replacement driver license or ID card. If your current address is not on file, you may not receive renewal notices or other correspondence concerning your driver license or vehicle records. You may be cited by law enforcement if you do not change your address within the 10 days.
If you move within Pennsylvania, you must notify the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) of your new street address within 15 days. Notification is simple and can be made online, by mail, in person, or by phone.
Different processes may be required for:
- Military and government employees.
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) holders.
- Replacement driver's licenses.
- Changes to vehicle titles and registration.
PA License & Registration Address Change
You can update your change of address for both your Pennsylvania driver's license and your vehicle registration records online, by mail, or in person.
Within 10 business days you should receive your:
- PA Driver's License/ID Update Card to carry with your driver's license.
- New vehicle registration card.
Since you will receive a Driver's License/ID Update Card, you will not receive a replacement Pennsylvania driver's license or ID card. If you'd like a replacement card showing your new address, follow the instructions on our Replacing a Lost License in Pennsylvania page.
No fee is required to update your driver's license and registration records only. Fees only apply if you want a replacement license with your new address on it (see the “Fees to Change Your Address in PA' section below).
If you check the box allowing PennDOT to make the change of address for your voter registration, you will receive a new voter registration card from the Pennsylvania Bureau of Commissions, Elections and Legislation.

Driver's License
To update your Pennsylvania driver's license online, visit the Online Driver's License/Photo ID Login page.
You will need your:
- PA driver's license number.
- Printer.
You can print your own temporary card (Driver's License/ID Update Card) showing your new address to carry with your PA driver's license until your permanent Driver's License/ID Update Card arrives.
Vehicle Registration
To update your Pennsylvania vehicle registration address online, visit the Online Vehicle Services Login page.
You will need your:
- Vehicle title number.
- License plate number.
- Insurance company name and policy start/end dates.
- Odometer reading.
- PA driver's license number.
- Printer.
You can print a temporary update card to keep with your PA vehicle registration until your new registration card arrives.
By Mail
If you're updating your address on your Pennsylvania driver's license only, you will need a completed Non-commercial Driver's License/Identification Card/Learner's Permit Application to Renew/Replace/Change/Correct (Form DL-80).

CDL Address Change
You can update or change your Pennsylvania address on your commercial driver's license (CDL) by mail or in person.
You cannot complete a CDL PA change of address online.
The fee for changing the address change on a PA CDL is $30.50 ($35.50 with a Class M endorsement) and you will receive an updated Pennsylvania CDL.
By Mail
To change your address on your PA CDL by mail, you will need:
- A completed Commercial Driver's License Application to Replace/Correct (Form DL-80CD).
OR - A completed Application for Renewal of Commercial Driver's License (Form DL-143CD), if your Pennsylvania CDL will expire soon.
- Payment (see the “Fees to Change Your Name in PA' section below).
NOTE: Be sure to sign the form in the presence of a notary.

Within 10 business days, you should receive your updated CDL showing your new PA change of address.

Military/Government Change of Address Exemptions
Driver's License
You do not need to change or update a PA driver's license if you are out of state, but returning to a PA address.
This exemption applies to:
- Active duty military personnel (including spouses and dependents).

Vehicle Registration
You do not need to update your PA vehicle registration if you are keeping a PA address while living/working out of state.

New Residents in Pennsylvania
If you are moving to Pennsylvania, you must apply for a PA:

You have 60 days to get a Pennsylvania driver's license after moving into the state.

Changing Your Address in Florida
How to change your address with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) and the Division of Driver Licenses:
- Go online to the Florida DHSMV GoRenew website, enter your info., and pay the $25 fee. OR
- Visit a Division of Driver Licenses office, provide proof of your ID/address, and pay the fee.

If you're moving to a new residence in Florida, you must notify the FL DHSMV and get an updated registration card.

Florida Voter Registration Address Change
You can change your address on your voter registration when you change your address on your FL driver's license in person (see the “ FL Driver's License/CDL Address Change' section above).
The Division of Driver Licenses office will give you a change of address application and forward it to your local county elections office. You will be mailed an updated voter registration card showing your new address.
You can also change your address with your local county Supervisor of Elections directly. You can do this by mail, in person, or byphone by calling your local Supervisor of Elections office. You'll be asked to provide your date of birth.
To change your address by mail or in person, complete a Florida Voter Registration Application and send or take it to your local county Supervisor of Elections.
