Jul 06, 2017  Is There a Win 10 update driver for HP ScanJet G4010? I have an HP ScanJet G4010 that worked awesome in Windows 8 but stopped being recognized after I updated my PC to Windows 10. I understand that the scanner is not working while using Windows 10.

For better understanding of the issue, please provide us following information:

1. Which build of Windows 10 are you using?
2. Do you have the HP Solution Center software installed? If so, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling that software.

The issue you have reported usually occurs if the drivers needed for the device are not installed properly or if the drivers are not compatible with the Operating System.

I would suggest you to visitmanufacturer's website and install the latest available driver for the device in compatibility mode.

If the drivers for the device are not yet available for Windows 10, hence I suggest you to reinstall them in compatibility mode.

Follow the steps below to install the driver in compatibility mode and see if it helps:

1. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties
2. Select Compatibility Tab
3. Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list
4. Click OK and run the setup.

I would suggest you to visitmanufacturer's website and install the latest available driver for the device in compatibility mode.

Sometimes operating system upgrades can break drivers because of a lack of driver signing or code no longer supported. Sometimes, reinstalling the existing driver or a new version can resolve the problem. Compatibility mode can sometimes help too.

As for Microsoft Outlook 2010, its still a supported release. Options you can consider include reinstalling Office 2010 or make sure the latest Service Pack and updates for Office is installed.
